Pajama Parties

Pajama Parties are special times at Miss Becca's Place. Generally held the 2nd and 4th Thursday during the summer and on Fridays in the fall and spring, these evenings are a chance for your young artists/musicians to delve into a miniature "Small Wonders" camp experience, but with unique advantages:

Parents can have an evening to themselves while the children receive art/music/literature instruction at low cost, minimal time commitment, and enjoyable atmosphere!  (just think: you don't have to drive them to a weekly lesson, which there may be no time for in the schedule, but they still get the benefit of exposure and practice in the process of art and music instruction...)  Why are these parties so effective?  Because "Play is child's work"--the arts become their form of play.

  • 6:00 - 8:30 p.m.
  • $25
  • 5% discount for each additional child in the family
  • Students may wear pajamas!
  • Light snacks served
  • We provide the gentle (and wild-side) bedtime routine for the tired parent
  • Themed around children's literature and story music
  • Art, music, literature, dramatic play
  • An answer to parents who cannot provide weekly art lessons, or want to provide some artistic exploration to balance out all of the large-muscle athletics, etc.
